You have probably seen lots of signs around Disney property for Bonnet Creek Resort. You may also have seen the entry to the Bonnet Creek Resort just before you get to the Caribbean Beach Resort. The interesting thing about this 70 acre area, is that it is not Disney owned or operated, but is found within the Disney borders. The area is currently under development and currently includes a Fairfield Inn timeshare resort. Soon to be added, will be 500 room Waldorf Astoria hotel, a 1000 room Hilton hotel, a 400 room Wyndham hotel (opening 2009), and an 18 hole golf course.
